The Sanctuary at Two Rivers is a 40 acre private luxury-modern Yoga Retreat & Teacher Training Center and Eco-Estate Rental Property. This wildlife and Yoga retreat sanctuary is perched approximately 1000 yards slightly above the Pacific Ocean in Cabuya. This property is two miles from Cabo Blanco, Costa Rica’s first National Nature Reserve. This center is also neighbors to the quaint artistic beach-town of Montezuma and the surf town Santa Teresa and Mal Pais.
This center gets its name from the center’s land beginning at the junction of two rivers which was called a ‘Sangama’ in the ancient India. As you will walk from car-parking area for 20 minutes over jungle and river paths to reach the grounds of the Sanctuary, you will explore the amazing natural beauty. Its private park is set between two rivers with waterfalls that flow year round and home to a variety of species of flora and fauna.
The Sanctuary at Two Rivers offers two types of Eco-Chic accommodations-Studio Houses and Jungle Lofts. This center has spaces to accommodate up to 16 individuals. Each of the accommodation is featured with unique qualities, size, bed options and layout. Nestled amongst amazing tropical gardens these houses have decks, hammocks and wonderful jungle vistas. Solar energy system is used for electricity for these accommodations. There are green lighting, ceiling fans, amazing outdoor solar hot water showers with garden views, screened in walls which will let you enjoy close-up and intimate experience with nature.
While staying at this center, you can enjoy three unforgettable Tropical Fusion vegetarian or vegan meals per day. Inspired by the world’s greatest cuisines, these meals are prepared by talented plant-based chef. All the meals are prepared with freshest local ingredients, herbs and spices. All of the organic food products are collected from local Costa Rican family farms. This center offers gourmet meals including vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free cuisine which will help you to detox, nourish and cleans your body system. You will find plenty of protein dishes which are prepared by using legumes, artisan cheeses, seeds and nuts and eggs as well as chickens. Only whole grains and natural sweeteners are used for the food. You will also have organic fresh fruits. Overall you will enjoy a more environmentally friendly diet. If any guests have any kind of food allergies, they can ask for omitting certain items from dishes.

A wide variety of Yoga retreats and 200 hour or 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification Programs are offered by the Sanctuary at Two Rivers. These retreats are designed for everyone and all the retreats are directed by Certified Yoga Teacher specializing in different styles of Yoga.
You can enjoy a number of community and adventure activities and excursion within walking distance and most are just a 15 to 25 minutes taxi drive. You can go for exploring Cabo Blanco National Park or visit the nearby beach towns of Montezuma and Santa Teresa. You can stroll down the hill to the local beach at Rio Lajas or enjoy walking 10 minutes down the beach to Los Cedros. If you are fond of adventure, you can go for a canopy tour on zip-lines. You can also enjoy other activities like hiking to secluded waterfalls, mount biking or ATV tour. You can also enjoy water activities like snorkeling or surfing, swimming or beach combing.
